Mace


Description/Blazon
Displayed around the mace, a band surmounted by a narrow band suggesting the Fourragere, a six parted scroll, to the left and to the right, a five parted scroll displaying campaign credits earned during World I and World War II, below the symbol for the US Army School of Music.  The inscription "18TH ARMY BAND" is around the band of the mace.  The wolverine within the strap is displayed at the top of the mace, signifying solidity.
